Signwriters - Signmakers, What's the difference?

The difference between signwriting and signmaking
is simply that signmakers produce signs using all
techniques old and new but have become
particularly associated with modern signmaking skills.

Signwriting produced by signwriters
will typically use ancient skills and methods
all applied by hand
using Red Sable brushes, high quality
signwriters oil paints and gold leaf.
